Nicolae Vieru received his dance training and teaching at the National Ballet School in Bucharest, in the master class of Professor Gheorghe Stefan, the former director of the school. After graduating with a degree in Stage Dancer (MFA), he took engagements as a dancer at the Bucharest National Opera, and worked also for the National Theatre "Ion Dacian“ and Romanian television ballet. In addition, he also taught at the National Ballet School and IATC (Academy of Performing Arts) in Bucharest classical dance and stage movement. He get 1988 an engagement as principal dancer and ballet master in Staatstheater Stendal former East Germany. After the fall of 1990, he opened in Schweinfurt, West-Germany, own ballet school, until now a competent and nationally recognized training school for professional stage dancing. In 1994, Nicolae Vieru opened one of the first private contemporary dance companies in Romania. He worked among others with dancers from the State Opera in Iasi, National Opera in Bucharest, Romanian State Ballet Fantasio in Constantza, dancers of the ballet company in Ulm, Meiningen and Dortmund for his own productions like the ballet" La Mer "," Jeux de Cartes“, "I remember Brancusi", "L'art du pas de quatre," "The Wizard of Oz," "A Midsummer Night's Dream," "Pinocchio" "Happy Day"
and much more. The dance productions were shown at the National Opera and Television in Iasi (Romania) theater of the city of Schweinfurt, Kurtheater Bad Kissingen, Convention Center Bamberg, Skopje Dance Theatre. Numerous guest performances by students of the ballet school and ballet company in television (TV Touring, Bayerischer Rundfunk, TV1 and RTL), and various presentations (BMW presentation 2001-2002) Neujahresball in Würzburg, ECE City Warehouse health days and more. Nicolae Vieru choreographed and taught regularly since 1991 for various national and international projects, workshops, master classes and ballet performances, and he is Jury for the World Ballet Competiton Open. He is Guest Teacher of the ESRA University in Skopje and artistic director of the Murnau Balletschool.
